Business commitments and a very busy lifestyle mean most owners only use their boats a few weeks a year. For the remainder the boat is idle - but costs continue.

Boat syndicates share all costs enjoying a considerable saving without losing the benefits of owning a luxury powerboat. The boats benefit by more use and owners pay less. Holidays are even more enjoyable knowing all expenses are substantially reduced. Deepblue Marine Services Mallorca currently operate five syndicate boats in the south of Mallorca. All have different groups of owners meaning good flexibility in weeks allocated.

  • All group members liaise directly with each other either by email or phone. At the end of each year all owners and Deepblue Marine Services meet in UK for an Annual General Meeting to discuss in detail the running of each boat.

  • Always on the agenda are current serviceability, winter maintenance and setting the budget for the upcoming year plus allocation of the coming season's dates/weeks for each owner.

  • Each new owner joining a syndicate receives a contract, a share certificate and an owner’s agreement. All legal documents are prepared and administered by U.K. lawyers.

  • All the boats are fully insured and each owner is named on the insurance policy.

  • Owners are responsible for the boat during their holiday. Any damage caused is their exclusive responsibility. Fair wear and tear is a syndicate-shared expense.

Deepblue Marine Services Mallorca S.L. maintain all the boats on every-day basis. They are on call 24/7 to ensure everyone’s holiday enjoyable and totally hassle-free.

We take care of:

 

Winter maintenance – polishing, antifouling, engine and generator service, yearly safety equipment service (life raft, life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers) and all the additional work agreed by the owners at the AGM.

 

Weekly turnaround – before the arrival of each owner, we fully clean exterior & interior and the tender, supply clean bedding and towels. Carry out the engine and system checks.
